Certification and qualifier race - JBG Kolkata World 10K is an AIMS and World Athletics certified event and a qualifier for all the major international events.

Timed Category – ELITE 10K is a timed category i.e your chest number or BIB no will have a RFID chip attached the back that will record your finish timing which will determine your race position and also show on your finishing e-certificate.

Age Eligibility - Any individual above the age of 18 years can participate in the event.

Timing Qualification -Timing Proof To qualify and participate in the ELITE 10K category, participants must submit his/ her timing certificate during the time of category registration. This timing certificate can be of any running event you may have participated within the last one year. You may submit timing certificate of any distance category.

The following are the cut off timings accepted for registering in the Elite 10K category (for both Male & Female) –

• 5 kms – 20 mins
• 10 kms – 40 mins
• Half Marathon (21.1 kms) – 1 hr 35 mins
• 25 km – 1 hr 50 mins
• Full Marathon (42.195 kms) – 3 hrs 45 mins

If the submitted timing certificate is incorrect/inappropriate/does not meet the standards and requirements of the category, the registration will be revoked and the money reimbursed to the participants
